AN EMMY FOR THE DOCUMENTARY "17"
Last December 1st, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the documentary directed by Juan Agustín Márquez and Noel Quiñones took the Emmy statuette for being the best in their category.

On the premises of Westin Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, at 7pm, began the event in which the documentary “17”, directed by the founder of Operation Exito, Noel Quiñones and Juan Agustín Márquez, was awarded an Emmy statuette.



Before some 600 attendees, Noel Quiñones and his wife Soraya Sesto moved emotionally onto the main stage to receive the statuette which materialized many years of hard work involving the effort of a great work team.



The documentary “17” honors 17 students and their classmates, the School Principal, faculty and administration of Maricao’s Senior High School, parents, the mayor, police, firefighters and businesspeople who accepted the challenge to rescue their school utilizing the social transformation strategies of Operation Exito’s Intensive Treatment program and transforming the school into one of the most successful schools in Puerto Rico’s public school system.
